Influences
Influences come from past and present. My great grandmother and mother’s tradition of quilting has always been there. Little blocks and shapes, fitted together, can be seen directly in the background of my work.
The natural elements come from growing up in the country. I grew up on a farm and we had no air conditioning, so most of the living was done outside. Even today, time and time again I am drawn to the woods.
